Crime Prevention Forums At Schools

Public forums on preventing property crime will be held this week at two area schools.

The first meeting is tonight at 7 at Audubon Elementary, 2020 W. Carlisle. The second will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Shadle Park High School, 4327 N. Ash.

Police, Block Watch officials and COPS substation workers will be on hand to provide numbers of local property crimes as well as ways to reduce burglaries.

The meetings are a part of the Police Department’s ongoing campaign to reduce the number of burglaries in the city.
