Tools, Supplies Stolen From Building Site

From Staff Reports

Thieves stole nearly $2,000 in tools and building supplies from a church being built along state Highway 54.

Fifty-six sheets of 1/2-inch drywall, 800 feet of cedar trim, sheet metal, a hot water heater and an assortment of tools were among the items listed on the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Department report.

Workers discovered the burglary of the Living Word Church job site when they reported for work Tuesday morning, but said the theft could have occurred as early as Friday night. The church is being built near the intersection of Highway 54 and Clagstone Road.
