Pat and Martha Garrett, Spokane, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday with a gathering at their home.

Hosts for the event were their children and spouses: Ed and Linda Garrett, Eldon and Kathy Garrett, and Anita and Russ Meenach, all of Spokane.

The Garretts were married Feb. 24, 1949, in Heeber Springs, Ark. They have four grandchildren.
