Children’S Books Needed For Program

This week is Reading is Family Fun Week in Idaho. Several local businesses are offering free or reduced admission prices in exchange for a donation of a new children’s book. The books will be given to underprivileged children as part of the North Idaho Reads! literacy program.

Participating businesses (call for times) include Sunset Bowling Center, The Coeur d’Alene Discount Cinemas, Skate Plaza, Cove Bowl Recreation Center, GoKart Family Fun and Silver Lake Mall. The Book & Game Co., Hastings and The Bookseller have lists of recommended books posted at their stores. Books also will be collected at Tidyman’s, Super 1 Foods, Albertson’s and Silver Lake Mall in Coeur d’Alene and Tidyman’s in Post Falls.
