Coldwater Creek Rehires Some Workers

Coldwater Creek has hired back 10 of 80 employees who were temporarily laid off Friday.

And the catalog retailer hopes to restore hours to the other 70 workers soon, said company spokesman David Gunter.

The temporary layoffs are an annual event after Christmas, Gunter said. February and March are typically the slowest times of the year in the catalog business, he said.
