Vandals’ Scott Honored

Idaho’s Gordon Scott has been chosen to College Hoops Insider’s All-Junior-college team. The 15 players on the team are JC grads excelling on four-year schools.

Scott averages 14.7 points and has made 64 3-pointers. He transferred from Barton County College.

Other All-JC team members include Chris Porter of Auburn, Steve Francis of Maryland, Gee Gervin of Houston, Pete Mickeal of Cincinnati and Charles O’Neal of Long Beach State.

Francis and Porter were on the magazine’s All-America team. Long Beach State’s Rock Lloyd (Syracuse) and New Mexico State’s William Keys (Northeastern Illinois) are on the All-Impact team, honoring players who transferred from D-I schools.
