Workshop Offers Autism Support, Information

The Spokane Autism Society plans a resource workshop Jan. 16. The day-long conference at Redeemer Lutheran Church in the Spokane Valley will provide support and information to anyone associated with autism.

At the workshop, experts will give presentations on a variety of treatment and educational methods. Health and diagnosis issues also will be discussed, says organizer Kathy Tabbert.

The Spokane Autism Society cooperative support group meets at 7 p.m. every third Wednesday at St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Institute. Anyone is welcome to attend the meetings.
