Pullman Opens League With Cozy Win
GNL boys
As if Pullman’s 1-2 punch weren’t enough, Josh Bray is giving the Greyhounds a third option.
Bray made 6 of 9 3-pointers and finished with 25 points on Friday as second-ranked Pullman opened its Great Northern League schedule with an 86-60 win over visiting Medical Lake.
Brent Cummings (26.7 points per game) and Ryan Harms (15.9 ppg) had guided the Greyhounds through six games. Now Bray, who had averaged 7.6 during the first five, has scored 45 in the last two.
Pullman hit 20 of 39 field goals in the first half to pull away from the team that defeated it in last year’s State 2A quarterfinals.
Medical Lake’s Mike Chappell scored 10 in the third quarter.
