Boxing Hall Honoring Bivins

Although he defeated eight future world champions and was unbeatable for four years during boxing’s Golden Era, Jimmy Bivins never reigned as champion.

But Bivins will take his place among his sport’s greatest names as one of the International Boxing Hall of Fame’s 1999 induction class that includes five other living inductees - promoter Bob Arum among them - and 11 posthumous inductees.
