Three Beat Man At Valley House

A man was beaten and tied up in his Spokane Valley home early Wednesday when three men broke in and robbed him at gunpoint, sheriff’s deputies said.

The unidentified man was not seriously injured. Two small boys and an infant girl in the home were not hurt, deputies said.

The incident began just after midnight on South Johnson Road. The victim heard knocking at his door. When he opened it to see who was there, one of the suspects stuck a pistol in his face. Three men forced their way inside and one began beating him with the pistol, deputies said.

The suspects dragged the victim to a downstairs bedroom, tied him up and demanded money. They escaped with a television and other items, deputies said.
