Alpine skiing/snowboarding

Log on to www.silvermt.com to register to win a free pair of lift tickets for Silver Mountain.

Big Mountain in Whitefish, Mont., announced this week the resort is changing its multirun punch ticket. Previously-advertised punch cards have been discontinued as of Jan. 20. Punch cards already purchased will be honored through April 11. Info: (406) 862-1949.

Nordic skiing

The upper and lower trails were last groomed in the Sun Mountain area Jan. 20. Other trails from Sun Mountain down to Winthrop were groomed Jan. 19.

All nordic ski trails at Fairmont, British Columbia, are rated excellent and are track-set.

Both Mount Spokane and Schweitzer have good conditions on their trails and were groomed in the past week.

Snowmobiling

Mount Spokane also had groomers out on the snowmobile trails as well this week.
