Summary: The grading curve is getting a little tougher for Idaho (8-7, 4-2 Big West), which has defeated four straight lower-echelon conference foes. Defending champion Utah State (9-7, 2-3) upset Boise State on Thursday.

Aggies’ forwards Pharoah Davis and Donnie Johnson combine for an average of 24 points and 16 rebounds.

The backcourt pitches in with Troy Rolle (14.4 ppg) and Tony Brown (10.9 ppg).

The Vandals, though, have been on a rebounding kick after losing on the boards in preconference games.

Montana at Eastern Washington

Summary: The Eagles (6-9, 3-2 Big Sky) are coming off two tough losses in games that came down to the wire. Montana lost at Portland State Thursday 73-58 to drop to 8-9 and 1-5, matching its worst conference start ever.
