NEW FACES:
Jan Quintrall has been named president of the Better Business Bureau of the Inland Northwest. She replaces Lisa Stephens, who resigned in November. Quintrall has more than eight years of bureau experience and previously worked for the organization’s Colorado Springs, Colo., office. Earlier, she co-owned a small business in Denver.

Dr. John K. Shuster has joined Northwest Orthopaedic and Fracture Clinic in the practice of orthopedic surgery. He graduated from the University of Chicago Pritker School of Medicine and completed an internship and residency at Loyola University and a fellowship at Emory University.
Dr. Antoine G. Tohmeh has joined Spokane Orthopedic and Fracture Clinic in the practice of orthopedic surgery and spine surgery. A graduate of the American University of Beirut, he completed an internship and residency at St. Agnes Hospital. He completed another residency and a fellowship, both at the University of Maryland Hospital.
Dr. Michal R. Wilson has joined Northside Psychiatric Associates in the practice of psychiatry. He graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed an internship and residency at Sacred Heart Medical Center.
Dr. Ronald K. Hull has joined Drs. Auffant and Chiu in the practice of anesthesiology and pain management. He graduated from the University of Kansas and completed an internship at Presbyterian Hospital. He began residency training at St. Francis Hospital, then transferred and completed his training at the University of Utah.
Dr. Karen M. Ireland has joined Pathology Associates in the practice of pathology. A graduate of the University of Oregon Medical School, she completed an internship at Waterbury Hospital and a residency at the University of Colorado Medical Center. Ireland also completed a fellowship at Johns Hopkins University.
Dr. Stephen R. Bienz has joined the Physicians Clinic of Spokane in the practice of rheumatology. He graduated from the University of Washington, completed an internship and residency at LDS Hospital and a fellowship at the University of Utah.
Dr. R. Andrew Bright has joined Rockwood Clinic as a general surgeon. A graduate of the University of Alabama, he completed an internship and residency at Virginia Mason Hospital.
Dr. Julia Yu-Yun Lee has joined Spokane Dermatology Clinic in the practice of dermatology and dermatopathology. She graduated from National Taiwan University and completed an internship and residency at National Taiwan University Hospital. She completed additional residencies at Presbyterian University Hospital in Pittsburgh and at the University of Maryland Hospital. She also completed a fellowship at New York University Medical Center.
Dr. Won S. Lee has joined Spokane Radiation Oncology as a radiation oncologist. A graduate of Oregon Health Sciences University, he completed an internship at Emanuel Hospital and a residency at Oregon Health Sciences University.
Dr. David S. Malone has joined Rockwood Clinic in the practice of otolaryngology. He graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University and completed an internship at Deaconess Medical Center. He completed another internship at the University of Texas Medical Branch and a residency at Emory University.
Dr. Phyllis A. Ramirez, a psychiatrist, has joined Spokane Mental Health. A graduate of the University of Texas Medical Branch, she completed an internship and residency there. She completed an additional residency at Sacred Heart Medical Center.
Dr. Edwin D. Robins has joined Northwest OB-GYN in the practice of reproductive endocrinology. He graduated from Loma Linda University, where he completed an internship and residency. He completed a fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
Dr. Michael J. Sikora, whose specialty is family medicine, has joined Group Health Northwest. A graduate of the University of Alberta, he completed an internship and residency at Royal Alexander Hospital.
Dr. Dale Crum has been named managing partner at Oral Surgery Plus, a three-year-old practice located at 2204 E. 29th. Crum, who is a board-certified oral surgeon, previously was on the staff of the Southern California Kaiser Maxillofacial Surgery Department.
TRANSACTIONS:
First Security Insurance Inc. has acquired Northwest Insurance Services Inc. of Moscow. Plans include eventually moving the current office of Northwest Insurance Services next to First Security Bank’s Moscow branch at 221 S. Main. Michael L. Frederickson, president of Northwest Insurance Services, will manage the new office. Northwest Insurance has more than 4,500 customers and offers property casualty, life and health insurance for businesses, farms and individuals.
