Holiday Affects Services

The Fourth of July holiday will be observed on Monday, July 5, affecting many services:

Banks: Most branches will be closed Monday. Some satellite branches in grocery stores and other locations will be open.

Mail: No delivery Monday, but post office box service will be provided at the Riverside and Liberty Park stations.

Government offices: Federal, state, county and city offices will be closed Monday.

Libraries: Spokane city and county libraries will be closed Monday.

Parking meters: Park for free Monday.

Buses: Spokane Transit Authority service will be on the holiday schedule Monday.

Garbage: Pickups in the Valley and the city will be one day late next week.

Liquor stores: All state liquor stores will be closed Monday.
