Spice Girl Victoria Adams better known as “Posh Spice” wed English soccer star David Beckham on Sunday at the 15th-century Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland in a ceremony attended by only 29 close family members and friends, including the three other members of the British pop group. Geri Halliwell, the former “Ginger Spice” who quit the Spice Girls 13 months ago, was not there. Bishop Paul Colton of the Church of Ireland performed the ceremony, and the couple’s 4-month-old son, Brooklyn, attended. Reflecting “girl power,” Adams, 25, who wore a $160,000 gold-and-diamond coronet, didn’t promise to obey Beckham, 24, in the vows. An 18-piece orchestra played a selection of Spice Girl hits at the reception for 236 guests.
