June Cowley Anderson Bonners Ferry, Idaho
Service for June LaRue Cowley Anderson, 77, will be today at 10 a.m. at the Bonners Ferry Funeral Home. Private burial will be at Paradise Valley Cemetery near Bonners Ferry.
Mrs. Anderson, who was born in Hugo, Colo., died Wednesday.
She lived in Colorado before moving to Bonners Ferry in 1934 and attended schools there.
Mrs. Anderson completed a post graduate course before spending a year at a girl’s finishing school in Coeur d’Alene.
She moved to California during World War II and married Gordon Elledge. They later divorced.
She owned a seamstress shop with her mother in California, and designed and made children’s clothing.
Mrs. Anderson returned to Bonners Ferry after the war and married Charles Kimball. They later divorced.
She married Herb Anderson in the 1970s, and they also divorced.
Mrs. Anderson was active with 4-H and won many ribbons at the Boundary County Fair.
Survivors include a son, Clinton Kimball of Naples, Idaho; a daughter, Victoria Elledge of Phoenix.; a sister, Reta Baney of Shelton, Wash.; and four grandchildren.
