Local Group Invests In Software Business

Spokane-based Northwest Venture Associates (NVA), joined by two other venture capital firms, invested $6 million in Pacific Edge Software of Kirkland, Wash., on Friday. NVA led the financing, and Tom Simpson, its managing director, will sit on Pacific Edge’s board of directors.

NVA runs two investment funds with combined capital of $40 million.

Simpson said the investment in Pacific Edge marks the largest of NVA’s 11 financings to date.
