Fern (Bibbit) Glaser Colfax, Wash.
Visitation for Fern Elizabeth (Bibbit) Glaser, 77, will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today, from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday and from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Bruning Funeral Home in Colfax. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Plymouth Congregational Church in Colfax. Burial will follow at the Colfax Cemetery.
Mrs. Glaser, who was born at the home of her grandparents in Dayton, Wash., died Thursday.
As an infant she returned with her family to the family farm east of St. John, Wash. In 1927 she moved to St. John and attended school there until moving to Colfax in 1938. She graduated from Colfax High School the next year.
Mrs. Glaser attended Washington State College for two years, joining the Chi Omega Sorority.
She worked as a bookkeeper for her father in the family business, McSweeney Tractor Co., then worked as a secretary for the manager of the Seattle First National Bank of Colfax.
In 1948 she married Roy Glaser. He died in 1972.
Mrs. Glaser was a member of the Plymouth Congregational Church of Colfax, the Colfax Ladies Golf Club and Ladies Investment Group, the Order of Eastern Star and served as Rainbow Mother.
Survivors include two sons, Roger Glaser of Ellensburg and Ed Glaser of Colfax; a daughter, Lynn Greenwalt of Spangle; a sister, Lavonne Davis of Escondido, Calif.; and eight grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
Grace Carlson Spokane
No service will be held for Grace Genevieve Carlson, 85, at her request. Riplinger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A lifetime Spokane resident, Mrs. Carlson died Thursday.
She worked as a clerk for Spokane County at one time, and was a member of the Elks Lodge 228 Auxiliary.
Her husband, Gunner, preceded her in death Survivors include a son, Jerome Carlson of Spokane; and a sister, Rose Schroder.
Dominique Parker Spokane
Private service will be held for Dominique Jamielle Parker. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Dominique, who was born in Spokane, died Tuesday. He was 7 years old..
Survivors include his parents, Don and Debi Parker of Spokane; a sister, LaQuisha; two brothers, Nathaniel and Deante; his grandmother, Joanie Houmel; his grandfather, Walter Park; and his great-grandmother, Betty LaFurgey.
Paul Eggers Spokane
Visitation for Paul R. Eggers, 41, will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home. Vigil will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Mass is planned for 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Mr. Eggers, who was born in Spokane, died Tuesday.
He worked as the shipping manager for Huntwood Industries.
Survivors include his father, Stewart Eggers of Spokane; six sisters, Margaret Zerr of Ravenna, Neb., Barbara Knop of Cannon Beach, Calif., Christine Thomas of San Jose, Calif., Katy Eucker and Patricia Eggers, both of Spokane, and Mary Davis of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; four brothers, Jim Mishima of Mead, Steve Eggers of Issaquah, Wash., Phil Eggers of Spokane and Joe Eggers of Kirkland, Wash.
Jack Lindell Sr. Spokane
Private service will be held for Jack Lindell Sr., 75. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lindell, who was born in Spokane, died Tuesday.
He served with the Air Force during World War II and was a member of the Army National Guard for a number of years.
Mr. Lindell worked for the Spokane Police Department for 13 years. He also owned a local tavern for 15 years.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Betty; two sons, Robert and Jack Lindell Jr., both of Spokane; two daughters, Donna and Katherine Lindell, both of Spokane; a brother, Wayne Lindell of Spokane; and two sisters, Frances Anderson of Spokane and Margaret Garr of Olympia.
Donald McEachran Spokane
Visitation for Donald Harrison McEachran, a longtime Spokane area furniture retailer, will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home. Funeral is planned for 11 a.m. Monday at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist.
Mr. McEachran, who was born in Spokane, died Wednesday. He was 92.
He attended Franklin Elementary School, Lewis and Clark High School and Washington State University, where he was a member of the Delta Upsilon Fraternity.
Mr. McEachran married Bernice Filer in 1930. They lived in Seattle, Bremerton and Great Falls, Mont., while he was working for J.C. Penney.
He returned to Spokane in 1939. He went to work for E.S. Burgan and Sons and was the president of the company for 20 years until his retirement.
He was a longtime member of the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, a member of the Rotary, the Washington State University and the Delta Upsilon Alumni Associations, Manito Golf and Country Club and the Spokane Club.
Mr. McEachran was active with the West Coast National Grocers Association, Ad Club and the American Automobile Association.
Survivors include; two sons, Douglas McEachran and Dennis McEachran, both of Spokane; a daughter, Jane Conlin of Tucson, Ariz.; a sister, Florence Garber of Reardan, Wash.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren

Vincent Hagel Spokane
Memorial service for Vincent Hagel, 78, will be at 2 p.m. today at Riplinger Funeral Home.
Mr. Hagel, who was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, died Tuesday. He had been a resident of Spokane since 1944.
He served as a platoon commander in the 82nd Airborne Division during World II, jumping into France on D-Day. He was awarded two Purple Hearts.
Mr. Hagel worked as a State Farm Insurance agent for 35 years.
He was past president and a member of the Shadle Park Lions Club and the Kiwanis club. He also was a member of the Elks and the Moose Lodge.
His wife, Norma Jean, died in 1998.
Survivors include a daughter, Pamela Sims of Liberty Lake; five sons, Vincent Hagel of Oak Harbor, Wash., James Hagel of Bridgeport, Wash., Kenneth Hagel of Kennewick, Richard Hagel of Seattle and Phillip Hagel of Spokane; two sisters, Regina Billington of San Francisco and Mary Rogers of Seattle; three brothers, Frank Hagel of Sequim, Wash., Pete Hagel of Fresno, Calif., and John Hagel of Portland; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Douglas Heaton Spokane
Memorial service for Douglas E. Heaton, 50, was held Friday at the Jesuit House Chapel. Spokane Cremation and Burial is in charge of arrangements.
A lifetime Spokane resident, Mr. Heaton died Monday.
After his graduation from high school, he served in the Army during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Heaton worked as an auto mechanic and other various positions over the years. He was known for his love of old cars.
Survivors include his wife, Nellie; a daughter, Darla Olson of Spokane; his mother, Doris Heaton of Metamora, Ill.; two brothers, Donald Heaton of Spokane and David Heaton of Woodinville, Wash.; and a sister, Debbie Dooley of Metamora.
Richard Ward Spokane
Memorial service for Richard A. Ward, 62, was held Friday at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South.
A 23-year Spokane County resident, Mr. Ward died Saturday.
Born in Toppenish, Wash., he graduated from Toppenish High School. He received his bachelor’s degree from Washington State University, where he was a member of the Theta Xi fraternity.
He worked for Key Tronic and American Sign and Indicator, and most recently had been working as an engineer for Washington State Manufacturing Current Services.
He also was the Y2K advisor for embedded process systems for the state of Washington and was an advisor to Shred Fast, a company that disposes of electronic equipment.
Mr. Ward was a member of the Spokane Area Chamber of Commerce.
Survivors include two daughters, Danette Sulgrove of Auburn, Wash., and Susan Bates of Spokane; special friend, Sharon Banducci of Coeur d’Alene; and two grandchildren.
Willard Dahl Greenacres
No service will be held for Willard A. Dahl, a 69-year Spokane resident. Hennessey Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Dahl, who was born in Blaben, N.D., died Tuesday. He was 75.
He moved to Spokane from North Dakota in 1930.
Mr. Dahl graduated from Central Valley High School and enlisted in the Army in 1943. He served as a medic in the 9th Infantry Division during World War II, and was awarded three Purple Hearts, a Silver Star and two Bronze Stars.
In 1949 he married Juanita Lewis and they settled in the Spokane Valley.
Mr. Dahl worked as a plumber for McClintock & Turk for several years. He retired in 1983 and moved to the Sandpoint area, where he lived for 16 years before returning to the Spokane Valley.
He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 44 for 46 years.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Karen McMackin of Spokane and Linda Sevigney of Greenacres; a son, W. James Dahl of Greenacres; two brothers, Robert Dahl of Ferndale, Wash., and Carl Dahl of Spokane; three sisters, Claire Derning of South Carolina, Lois Abbott of Greenacres and Patsy Strohmaier of Hayden, Idaho; six grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.

R.D. Thrall Marlin, Wash.
Memorial service for R.D. Thrall, 79, will be at 11 a.m. next Saturday at the Heritage Church Sanctuary in Odessa, Wash. Strate Funeral Home in Davenport, Wash., is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Thrall, who was born on a homestead near Marlin, died Monday.
He graduated from Marlin High School and attended Kinman Business University in Spokane.
In 1941 he married Iva Pfeifer.
Mr. Thrall farmed in the Marlin area for 30 years and to the Marlin Hites in 1974.
He was an active member of the Washington State Horseshoe Association, a member of the Marlin Presbyterian Church, served as a director on various boards, including the Lincoln Electric Co-op Board, Krupp Union Grain Growers, Grant County Health District, the Marlin City Council and the Wilson Creek School Board.
Survivors include his wife, Iva; a daughter, Bonnie Icenogle of Spokane; a son, Harlan Thrall of Marlin; two sisters, Vera Johnson of Moses Lake and Wilma Bonner of Spokane; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Raymond Schauer Spokane
Memorial service for Raymond Edgar Schauer, a 10-year Spokane resident, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Holy Cross Cemetery. The Cremation Society of Washington is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Schauer, who was born in Detroit, died Tuesday. He was 74.
Mr. Schauer was a three-war Air Force veteran. He was last stationed at McChord Air Force Base in Tacoma. He retired as a lieutenant colonel in 1970 after 30 years of service.
In 1960 he married Patricia Casey, and they lived in Tacoma for 22 years. They moved to Spokane 10 years ago.
Mr. Schauer was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge in Pontiac, Mich.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Scott Schauer of Bend, Ore., and Nick Schauer of Spokane; a daughter, Stephanie Johnson of Tucson, Ariz.; two brothers, Victor Schauer of Sacramento, Calif., and Gus Schauer of Tucson; two sisters, Violet Smith of Gross Point, Mich., and Beatrice Holmes of Farmington, Mich.; four grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Luella (Bucknell Berk) Noble Othello, Wash.
Private service was held for Luella Alveretta Margaret (Bucknell Berk) Noble. Stevens Funeral Chapel in Othello was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Noble, who was born in Spokane, died June 28. She was 92.
In 1925 she married Fred Berk. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Noble worked at Diamond Match in Spokane for 25 years and moved to Seattle in 1958, where she worked for Boeing.
In 1963 she moved to Othello and in 1968 married Roderick Noble.
Survivors include her second husband; a son, Henry Berk, and a daughter, Kim Coleman, both of Othello; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
