Costa Earns 10Th Title

Eighth-seed Albert Costa of Spain collected a second Swiss Open tennis trophy in Gstaad, Switzerland, defeating Ecuador’s Nicolas Lapentti in straight sets for a 10th career title.

Costa prevailed 7-6 (7-4), 6-3, 6-4 over the 22-yearold Lapentti, taking 2 hours, 16 minutes to improve his win-loss record in Gstaad to 13-3.

Spain’s Juan Antonio Marin won his first ATP title, beating Sweden’s Andreas Vinciguerra 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) to capture the Swedish Open in Bastad, Sweden.
