San Francisco’s famed Carousel restaurant, the last Doggie Diner in the Bay Area, has won landmark status. This comes to the dismay of a garden center which wants to expand on the land the diner sits on. The last of the Doggie Diners breed is still a popular hot dog haven marked by a big red dachsund head sporting a bow tie and chef’s hat.
