Man Found Dead Identified By Police

A man found dead earlier this month in his home has been identified as Kurt A. Werner, the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Department said Monday.

The 41-year-old man was found in his home by neighbors on July 4. Werner died of a head injury, said Sgt. Mike Gunderson.

Deputies are investigating Werner’s death as suspicious. Investigators have not determined when Werner died.

They are asking anyone with information about Werner’s death or who might have seen him during the days leading up to his death to call the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Department at (208) 556-1114.
