Commitment to students appreciated
On behalf of the Ponderosa Elementary staff, we congratulate our fifth-grade students who accepted the challenge of playing us in the annual spring softball game. You won fair and square, 10-9. Your fielding, hitting and sportsmanship were excellent. We have enjoyed you immensely and wih you the best as you start your middle school adventure.
It has been wonderful to watch such talented educators enrich the lives of our children. It’s obvious the positive, productive atmosphere in the classroom and the support and help from home have played a major role in the success of our children at Ponderosa Elementary.
I thank everyone for their tremendous support with various projects, plays and committee work - we are fortunate to have so many people come forward with such willingness to help and support our school.
A special thank you to our P.T.O. officers and the Community Student Mentors. The hours of work and commitment to education and to help students is appreciated.
Thank you to our community businesses, the Post Falls Education Foundation and individuals for being so receptive and eager to help us continue to enhance our academic programs. The partnership we have developed benefits our students in so many positive ways.
In addition to our academic curriculum, members of the Ponderosa Safety Patrol and School Service Student Monitors have been recognized monthly by Post Falls Little Caesar’s Pizza. Their commitment to this program and other school functions, is very appreciated. Bob J. Sloyka Principal, Ponderosa Elementary School
