Milo `Prof’ Hubert Ford, Wash.

Rosary for Milo William “Prof” Hubert, 69, will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Spokane Tribal Longhouse in Wellpinit, Wash. Funeral mass is planned for 10 a.m. Monday at the Longhouse. Burial will be at Hubert Cemetery in Ford. Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hubert, who was born in Ford, died Tuesday.

He served in the Army during the Korean War.

Mr. Hubert worked as a heavy equipment operator in the logging industry for several years.

He was a member of the Wellpinit Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10711 and the Spokane Tribe of Indians.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Inez; six sons, Claude Cox of Medical Lake, Steven Brockway of Vancouver, Wash., Steven Moses, James Samuels and Francis Carson, all of Wellpinit, and Alfred Hubert of Ford; four daughters, Deanna Auld of Elmo, Mont., Brea Franco of Spokane, Thyra Moses of Wellpinit, and Konnie Meyer of Vancouver, Wash.; a brother, William Hubert, and a sister, Martina Cotton, both of Ford; 30 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Jeremy Jackson Spokane

Graveside service for Jeremy J. Jackson, 21, will be at 11 a.m. today at Greenwood Memorial Terrace. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Jackson, who was born in Yakima, died Wednesday.

He worked as a carpenter and in 1998 started JJJ Construction in Spokane.

Survivors include his parents, Harry and Deborah Jackson of Post Falls; a brother, Brian Jackson of Post Falls; a sister, Marrilee Woodard of Spokane; and his grandparents, Fred and Barbara Liebert of Yakima and Harry and Leona Jackson of Elko, Nev.

Ronnie Curvin Tacoma

Service for Ronnie Curvin, a former 15-year Spokane resident, will be at 11:30 a.m. today at Heritage Funeral Home.

Mr. Curvin, who was born in Grand Coulee, Wash., died July 9 in Spokane while visiting family. He was 42.

He moved to Tacoma from Spokane in 1983 and worked in the mental health field for 15 years.

Survivors include two sons, Tracey Koontz of Spokane and Benjamin McDaniel of Idaho; two daughters, Shalece Smith of Spokane and Veronica Curvin of Tacoma; three brothers, Charley, Daniel and Calvin Curvin Jr. ; four sisters, Curtestine Williams, Maxine Curvin, Peggy McGrew and Vicki Lassey; and two grandchildren.

Olive Healea Sandpoint

Service for Olive Mardell Healea, 80, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bonners Ferry Funeral Home. Private burial will be at Grandview Cemetery in Bonners Ferry.

Mrs. Healea, who died Thursday, was born in Burt County, Neb.

She grew up and graduated from high school in Nebraska and in 1937 married Richard “Dick” Healea.

Mrs. Healea moved to Sandpoint in 1947 and farmed until the early 1960s.

She was active in the community until she had a stroke in 1957. She moved to Bonners Ferry in 1970, where her husband operated the livestock yard.

Her husband died in 1988. She lived in Bonners Ferry until moving to Sandpoint in 1991. She had lived at Mountainside Care and most recently at Life Care Center in Sandpoint.

She was active in square dancing as a young woman and was a member of the United Methodist Church in Sandpoint.

Survivors include a son, Gary Healea of Tualatin, Ore.; a daughter, Arlana Dunkel of Sandpoint; a sister, Norma Erickson of Nebraska; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Cecil Coffey Spokane

Funeral service for Cecil G. Coffey, 75, was Friday at Valley Church of Christ. Burial followed at Fairmount Memorial Park.

A 52-year Spokane resident, Mr. Coffey, died Wednesday. He was born in Wetumka, Okla.

He worked as a furnace operator at Kaiser Aluminium for several years and was a member of Valley Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Clara; a son, Shelby Coffey of Spokane; a daughter, Sharon Taylor of Spokane; three stepsons, David, Larry and Mike Eberhart, all of Spokane; and a sister, Imogene Peace of Holdenville, Okla.

Rowena (Riggle) Nessly Spokane

Memorial service for Rowena (Riggle) Nessly, 70, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Opportunity Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Nessly, who was born in Seattle, died Tuesday.

She graduated from Rogers High School in 1947 and in 1953 received a bachelor’s degree in education from Eastern Washington State College. She taught third grade in Tonasket, Wash., for four years and then at University Elementary in the Central Valley School District for 20 years. She retired in 1986.

Mrs. Nessly was a member of Eastern Washington University Tawanka Alumni, Kappa Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa and Spokane area Retired Educators Association.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, James; two daughters, Jill Kuhn of Spokane and Jamie Mace of Republic, Wash.; a brother, Everett Riggle of Chico, Calif.; and a granddaughter.

Gregory Siebert Coeur d’Alene

Service for Gregory Don Siebert, 45, was held in Hayden Lake. Burial was at Forest Cemetery in Coeur d’Alene.

Mr. Siebert, who was born in York, Neb., died June 28 in a tree-climbing accident in Coeur d’Alene.

He was raised as a Mennonite and, in 1969, moved to California. He married Juanita Puente in 1976.

He lived in Paradise, Calif., prior to moving to Plains, Mont., in 1989. He settled in Coeur d’Alene in 1993.

Mr. Siebert worked as a professional timber faller and tree climber for 20 years, most recently for Specialty Tree Service of Coeur d’Alene.

Survivors include a son, Patrick Siebert, and a daughter, Roxanne Siebert, both of Post Falls; his ex-wife, Juanita of Post Falls; and four brothers, Raymond Siebert of Washington state, and Ronald, Dennis and Jeffrey Siebert, all of California.

Edna Shaw Colbert

Service for Edna Mae Shaw, 65, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Riplinger Funeral Home.

A 24-year Spokane resident, Mrs. Shaw died Thursday. She was born in Weiser, Idaho.

She worked in food service at Holy Family Hospital for many years.

Her husband of 32 years, Lloyd Shaw, preceded her in death.

Survivors include three sons, Kim Shaw of Mead, Bill Shaw of Colbert and Stan Shaw of Aberdeen, Md.; a daughter, Barbara Johnson of Spokane; a brother, John Widner of Payette, Idaho; two sisters, Layretta Yardley of Boise and Wardell Stevens of Salem, Ore.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Spokane.

Bertha Kreyssler Spokane

Memorial service for Bertha E. Kreyssler, 89, is planned for 2 p.m. Monday at Riplinger Funeral Home.

A 25-year Spokane resident, Mrs. Kreyssler, died Wednesday. She was born in Tekoa, Wash.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Corbin Senior Center.

Her husband, Harold, died in 1979.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Girsberger and Joyce Christopher; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, three stepgreat-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Spokane.

Richard Lascik Spokane

Funeral Mass for Richard Louis Lascik, a 23-year Spokane resident, was Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial was at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Mr. Lascik, 48, died Tuesday. He was born in Richland.

He worked as a purchasing agent for a manufacturing company.

Mr. Lascik was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was an avid baseball fan.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Gail; two sons, Paul and Christopher Lascik, both of Mead; his mother, Anna Lascik of Spokane; two sisters, Dorothy Frazier of Spokane and Joan Anderson of West Richland, Wash.
