Blanche Johnson St. Maries

Graveside burial of ashes for Blanche L. Johnson, 85, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in St. Maries. Yates-Hodge Funeral Home in St. Maries is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Othello, Wash., Mrs. Johnson died Wednesday.

She grew up in Deary, Idaho, and graduated from high school there in 1934. She married Louis Johnson in 1936.

Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker, and lived in Avon and Deary, Idaho, before settling in St. Maries in 1963.

Her husband died in 1984.

Survivors include two sons, Carl Johnson of Moscow, Idaho, and Bill Johnson of Athol, Idaho; a daughter, Margaret Harpole of Spirit Lake, Idaho; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Donald Weber Spokane

Service for Donald H. Weber, 72, is planned for 2 p.m. today at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home. Wake and potluck will be at 7 p.m. at Center Pointe, 1408 N. Washington.

A 40-year Spokane resident, Mr. Weber, died Tuesday. He was born in Cottonwood, Idaho.

He served in the Army during the Korean War and later worked as an auto mechanic.

He was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous and a volunteer at Pine Lodge Pre-Release and Airway Heights Correction Center.

Survivors include his wife, Dee; two daughters, Donna Lanham of Spokane and Linda Morton of Sierra, Calif.; three stepsons, Timothy Peterson, and Tom and Dave Davis, all of Spokane; four stepdaughters, Sharon Kauth, Karen McNamara and Marilyn Peterson, all of Spokane, and Vicki McCalip of Loon Lake, Wash.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
