Two Airmen Complete Basic Training

Air National Guard Airmen 1st Class Sudapon Lawson and Heather Roger-Gray have graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Lawson is the daughter of Douglas Lawson, Spokane, and a 1998 graduate of East Valley High School.

Roger-Gray, a 1998 graduate of Medical Lake High School, is the daughter of Mark and Janet Roger-Gray, Medical Lake.

Navy Airman Heidi Child has completed recruit training with honors from Recruit Training Command at Great Lakes, Ill.

She was recognized for outstanding performance in all phases of training.

Child, a 1994 graduate of University High School, is the daughter of Jerry and Cindy Child, Spokane.

Air National Guard 2nd Lt. Anthony Ball has graduated from undergraduate pilot training at Columbus Air Force Base, Miss.

Ball is the son of Steve Ball, Spokane, and Jane Jones, Pleasanton, Calif. He graduated from Gonzaga University in 1995.

Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Douglas Judge has received the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for his initiative and contribution in helping the command fulfill its mission while serving as leading torpedo man aboard the guided missile destroyer USS John S. McCain.

He is the son of Thomas and Linda Judge, Spokane.
