St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church was the setting for the May 22 wedding of Marcy Jo Cook and James M. Gies.

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Beverly Cook, Spokane. The bridegroom is the son of James and Sharon Gies, Colville, Wash.

A reception followed at Cataldo Hall. The couple are living in Spokane after a honeymoon on Matamanoa Island in Fiji.
