Heidi Gerding became the bride of Tyler Mathis in a June 19 ceremony at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. James and Dodie Gerding, Spokane. Robert and Karen Mathis, Portland, are the parents of the groom.

A reception at Gonzaga University’s Cataldo Hall followed the ceremony. The couple are living in Kirkland after a honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii.

The couple are both Gonzaga University graduates. The bride is a fifth-grade teacher, and the groom is a computer programmer.
