Two Die From Accident Injuries

A Newport man and youth died Sunday, one day after a collision near Deer Park claimed the life of a third friend, the Washington State Patrol said.

Levi Totland, 12, and Phillip Krsak, 18, died from injuries in the two-car collision that had killed Richard McGee, 12, Saturday morning.

All three were riding in the cab of a 1982 Toyota pickup truck when Krsak ran a stop sign at the intersection of Montgomery Road and Spotted Road north of Deer Park. The truck struck a 1997 Ford pickup driven by Valerie A. Roberts, 32, of Corvallis, Mont. Roberts survived the accident.

Krsak and Roberts were wearing seat belts; McGee and Totland were not. Both vehicles were totaled.
