Bible Schools Planned

If you haven’t signed your child up for a vacation Bible school session yet, time is running out. Only a month remains of summer, and soon kids will begin another year of school. Three North Side churches are planning upcoming Bible school sessions.

St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church will put on its vacation Bible school session next week. Classes will run from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Aug. 6. The theme of the event is “Jungle Journey: Exploring God’s Promises.”

All children age 4 through the seventh grade are invited to attend. There is no charge.

The Calvary Chapel of Spokane, 511 W. Hastings Road, will host a vacation Bible school Aug. 9-12. Classes organized around the theme “Jesus Loves Me” will run from 7 to 9 p.m. daily. All children age 3 through the sixth grade are invited to attend.

Registration begins at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 9. There is no charge to attend.
