The Gathering Place was the setting for the June 20 wedding of Renee L. Nelson and Jack W. Whipple.

The bride is the daughter of Marilyn Godin, Veradale, and Eugene Godin, Tehachapi, Calif. The bridegroom is the son of Ellen Meland, Spokane, and Jack Whipple Sr., Lewiston.

A reception followed at the chapel. The Ripples are living in Spokane after a honeymoon in Victoria, British Columbia, and the San Juan Islands.
