Rafter Missing In Montana
Searchers found no trace Monday of a woman who disappeared in the Big Hole River in a rafting accident that killed one of her three companions.
Roxie Oaks, 22, of Helena, was presumed dead.
Sheriff John McPherson said search and rescue efforts would resume today.
The rafting party was on the river Sunday afternoon when the raft capsized after going over the Divide Pumphouse Dam.
A woman pulled from the water about 45 minutes after the accident was dead on arrival at the Butte hospital. The Butte-Silver Bow coroner Monday identified her as Sandra Townsend, 48, of Bozeman.
