Priest River Man Reports Assault, Robbery

Police are investigating the robbery of an 18-year-old Priest River man who discovered more than $1,000 worth of his belongings missing after he was beaten.

A wallet, credit cards and four dozen compact discs were among the items missing from James Page’s Geo Tracker early Saturday, according to a Coeur d’Alene Police Department report.

Page told police he had passed out after drinking at a party in the 800 block of Garden Avenue. He was awakened about 12:30 a.m. by someone punching him in the face.

Page suffered cuts and bruises to his face. He estimated the value of his missing belongings at nearly $1,050.

Police arrested a 19-year-old man on an unrelated charge after finding him inside Page’s vehicle. The man is listed as a suspect in the robbery; his name has not been released.
