Learn About Money While You Spend It

Compiled By Business Staff

You can combine shopping with financial education during a trip to three of the Inland Northwest’s major malls on Saturday.

The Consumer Credit Counseling Service of the Inland Northwest is sponsoring an information fair, dubbed “Healthy, Wealthy and Wise,” from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at NorthTown, the Spokane Valley Mall and Silver Lake Mall in Coeur d’Alene.

CCCS President Mark Harnishfeger calls the event “the first of its kind in the area.”

The organization will have booths at all three malls, and several other businesses and nonprofit organizations also will be represented. Information will be available on topics ranging from home equity loans to investments.

Additionally, CCCS will provide information on raising money-smart kids, saving money at the grocery store, using your ATM card wisely and other issues.

For more information, call 327-3777, ext. 122, or (800) 8920-6854, ext. 122.
