Robert S. and Allison H. Douthitt celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a gathering at their home on June 12.

Hosts for the event were their children and spouses: Robert and Dianne Douthitt, and Mary Douthitt and her husband Charles Slater, all of Spokane; William Douthitt and his wife Karen Kasmauski, Falls Church, Va.; Elizabeth Douthitt and her husband Perry Cook, Princeton, N.J.; Susan and Travis Garrison, Sunnyside, Wash.; Thomas and Robin Douthitt, San Jose, Calif.; James and Kimberly Douthitt, Bellevue, Wash.; and Gabrielle and Michael Seibel, Seattle.

The Douthitts were married June 11, 1949, in Fritzlar, Germany. They have 16 grandchildren.
