Washington Trust E Hayden Site

From Staff

Trust Bank has asked state and federal regulators to approve a branch in Hayden, Idaho, the Spokane-based bank’s president for North Idaho said Monday.

Parker Woodall said the 3,500-square-foot, full-service office at Government Way and Prairie Avenue could open by the end of the year, depending on construction conditions.

The bank will be the sole occupant on the site, which was purchased from the Merritt Brothers Lumber Co., he said.

The branch, with drive-up lanes and an automated teller machine, will employ seven full time, Woodall said. Additional space will be available for visiting loan and trust officers.

Washington Trust has standalone branches in Coeur d’Alene and Post Falls, and grocery store branches in Rathdrum and north Coeur d’Alene.

“North Idaho is an area we consider to be a growth market, and we look forward to expanding our service in this area,” Woodall said.
