New faces:

Re/Max of Spokane has added the following people to its staff:

Randy Hall joined the company as a sales associate. Hall, who earned the GRI designation, has five years of real estate experience with Tomlinson Black South and Valley and Windermere South. Before moving to Spokane five years ago and entering the real estate industry, he was a concert promoter in Nevada and Southern California.

Donlee Marlin was named a buyer’s specialist for Team Maclay & Costello. She and her husband formed Marlin Video Productions. She is a pledge volunteer with KSPS and awards chairwoman for the local Boy Scouts of America.

Chuck Borris has been elected president of the American Federation of Musicians Local 105. Borris, who was a band leader for 30 years in Tampa, Fla., has worked professionally as a single act singe relocating to Post Falls in 1991. A graduate of the University of South Florida, he also is the Northwest regional sales representative for a line of acoustic guitars and teaches guitar and bass at the Northwest Academy of Music in Coeur d’Alene.

Moving up:

Washington Trust Bank has promoted the following employees:

Connie Miller was promoted to retail banking officer. Miller, who has worked for Washington Trust since 1983, is the operations supervisor in the Retail Credit Department.

Debra Wilson, who is the service manager at the bank’s Valley Financial Center, was named a retail banking officer. She joined Washington Trust 10 years ago at the University City Branch, which later became the Valley Financial Center.

Howard Imhoff was promoted to vice president. Imhoff, who joined Washington Trust in 1997, is the bank’s manager of information services.

Tami Ferguson was promoted to retail banking officer and named manager of the Main branch, located inside the bank’s financial center downtown, and the Medical Center branch, located inside the Sacred Heart Doctors Building. She has worked for Washington Trust since 1995.

Starting up:

Henry A. Montgomery, Jill Madsen-Kelly and Jeff Winikoff have joined to form Behavioral Health Northwest. Montgomery is a clinical psychologist who treats adults and adolescents with substance abuse, depression, anxiety or chronic pain problems. He earned a PhD at the University of New Mexico and completed an internship at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine. Madsen-Kelly is a certified mental health counselor and school psychologist who provides services to pediatric, adolescent and adult clients. Her specialties include evaluation and treatment of health-related concerns and school problems. Winikoff, who earned a master’s degree at Whitworth College, focuses on treating adolescents and adults who are experiencing behavioral, emotional or educational problems.

Elected:

Henry A. Montgomery, a Spokane clinical psychologist, has been elected president of the local chapter of the Washington Psychological Association. Jack Servinghouse was elected secretary. Both men teach and have private practices here.

Officers of the Grant County Public Utility District for 1999 are: President, Bill Hewitt; vice president, Dean Hagerty; secretary, Bill Judge; assistant secretary, Mike Conley; and commissioner, Vera Claussen. Hewitt will be the PUD’s representative to the Washington Public Utility Districts’ Association; Jim Perko, director of the Grant County PUD Resource Management Division, will be the utility’s representative to the Public Power Council, while Judge holds a similar position with the Central Washington Power Agency, and Claussen serves as the PUD’s representative to Energy Northwest, formerly the Washington Public Power Supply System.

The Girl Scouts Inland Empire Council has installed June Sine as president of its board of directors for 1998-99. Sine, who also is a member of the East Valley School Board and active with United Way and Block Watch, has been active with Girl Scouts since 1984. Other officers include: Sally Kramer, first vice president; Michelle Viau, second vice president; Cynthia McMullen, third vice president; Danielle Burton-Williams, secretary; and Sue Price, treasurer. Newly-elected members at large are Mary Ann Montague, Marjorie Thompson, Ken Mahoney, Debra Takami, Sherrill Richarz, Jody Hamilton and Carol McVicker. Senior Girl Scouts on the board are Darsha Olsen and Melica Dibble.
