Meth Lab Operator Gets 8-Year Sentence

From Staff Reports

A Spokane man convicted of four felonies, including running a methamphetamine lab, was sentenced Friday to serve eight years in prison.

Todd R. Todd, 25, was convicted last month of manufacturing methamphetamine and possession with intent to deliver.

The month before, he was convicted of unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of methamphetamine.

Prosecutors say Todd’s conviction was the first time a Spokane County meth lab operator was found guilty during trial.

Superior Court Judge Michael Donohue ordered Todd to serve 42 months for the illegal firearm conviction and 100 months each on the manufacturing and intent to deliver convictions.

Todd’s brother, Walter “Randy” Todd, pleaded guilty last year to six criminal charges, including possession of stolen property and manufacturing methamphetamine.

Those charges came after Pend Oreille County authorities raided a meth lab at Walter Todd’s home near Newport.
