It’s a participant’s dream.

Today through Sunday at the Spokane Convention Center is SportsFest, an interactive sports, fitness and health show. Times are 5-9 p.m. today, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $6, with children 12 and under free.

Saturday and Sunday at the Bluewood ski resort in Dayton, a new high-tech sporting sled, which resembles a comfortable luge, will be available for demo rides.

Saturday will be the 18th annual St. Paddy’s 5-mile run at Spokane Community College at 9 a.m. Late registration - $15 with a T-shirt, $10 without - is available until 8:30. Proceeds benefit youth programs at YMCA Camp Reed.
