Do-It-Yourself Nordic Ski Race

The last cross-country ski race of the season at Mount Spokane is a do-it-yourselfer called the Selkirk 30 free-style set for Saturday.

Racers start at any time between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. and use the starting clock to record their own time on 15k or 30k courses. Prizes will be awarded in age classes for men and women. Entry is free, but organizers are asking for donations to the Vanessa Beehan Crisis Nursery. Info: 467-1038.
