Man Killed In Logging Accident Him

A worker was killed at a Medical Lake logging operation Thursday when a log hit him in the head, Medical Lake police said.

The unidentified 24-year-old man died at the scene, police said.

The accident happened about 3:30 p.m. at 605 S. Pineview in Medical Lake.

A 3-foot section of a tree fell 60 feet, hit the worker and split his helmet, police said.
