Columnists Wanted

Have you ever wanted to be a newspaper columnist?

Imagine having a forum to share your keen insights with your neighbors, to interpret community events, to explain your views on important issues, to inspire your fellow citizens, or to simply offer up your humorous observations on life here in the Spokane Valley.

This might be your chance.

The Valley Voice now has openings on its Council of Contributors - members of which take turns writing the Front Porch column.

We’re looking for folks who are willing and able to articulate Valley perspectives on Valley issues.

We want people who could write five or six columns during the coming year.

You don’t have to be a certifiable expert on anything. You just have to have something fresh to say about things that matter to people who live in the Valley.

If you would like to be considered, send us a one-page letter telling us about yourself and describing the things you would like to write about.

Submit your letter to: Mike Schmeltzer, Valley Voice, 13208 E. Sprague, Spokane, WA 99216. Fax: 927-2175.
