Gregorian Mass returns

St. Aloysius Catholic Church is once again offering a weekly Gregorian Mass. Beginning this weekend, the Mass will be offered at 5 p.m. each Sunday at the Jesuit House Chapel, located behind the church.

The entire Mass is sung and chanted. Some portions are sung in Latin, but the Mass is predominately in English. The Gregorian chant dates back to the time of Pope Gregory I and was widely used in the Roman Catholic Church.

St. Aloysius is located at 330 E. Boone on the edge of the Gonzaga University campus. (324-5896)
