David Bowie Plans New Album

Billboard

David Bowie plans to head back into the studio to reunite with producer Tony Visconti this month.

The pair worked together for the first time in 20 years last fall when they cut a track for the “Rugrats” movie. That meeting led to the decision to work together on Bowie’s next studio album.

Visconti says he expects to record material that, while sounding totally modern, could hark back to some of their earliest collaborations, including 1972’s “The Man Who Sold The World,” or 1977’s “Low.”
