Poetry contest! Students in Kootenai County are invited to enter the 1999 Student Poetry Contest sponsored by the Coeur d’Alene Chapter of Idaho Writers’ League, Bookworm and Book & Game.

The contest is open to students in grades 7-12. There is a maximum of two entries per person, with no entry being longer than one page typed double-space. On the back of each entry include your name, address, phone number, grade and school. Entries must be postmarked by Wednesday and mailed to: Poetry Contest, Box 516, Athol, ID 83801.

Local journalism is essential.
