Anxiety Screening On Wednesday
A free screening for anxiety disorders will be held at the Valley Hospital and Medical Center as part of the National Anxiety Disorders Screening Day.
The screening will be held from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Classroom A at the hospital, 12606 E. Mission.
Mental health doctors and counselors will conduct the tests, which will help people determine whether they have a problem and how to treat it.

A day for pets, owners
Central Valley Pet Vet will host a community pet awareness day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. next Saturday in the parking lot of Hastings Books and Music, 15312 E. Sprague.
The Spokane Humane Society will have animals available for adoption.
Dr. Keith Clark with Central Valley Pet Vet will microchip pets for $15.
Information will be available on grooming, nutrition, obedience and oral hygiene, licensing and cremation.
Money raised by microchipping and raffle drawings will benefit the Spokane Humane Society.
