Get Your Hats; It’S Party Time

If your closet contains a treasured hat, now is the time to get it out. The Cheney Cowles Musuem is promising an elegant afternoon at the Mad Hatter Tea Party Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m., and hats are a must.

The party will be held at the Art At Work Gallery downtown at Main and Post. The tables themselves will be works of art, with each decorated to a theme such as “Evening in Paris” or “Fiesta in Mexico.”

Those attending will be served tea and food provided by A Catered Affair. Several vintage hats will also be on display.

Admission is $20 for museum members and $25 for non-members. Reservations may be made at the museum or by calling 456-3931, ext. 101.
