Nedra (Stevens) Pollock Pinehurst, Idaho
Service for Nedra (Stevens) Pollock, 87, will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Pinehurst. Burial will be at Shoshone Memorial Gardens in Pinehurst. Shoshone Funeral Service in Kellogg is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Pollock, who was born in Taber, Alberta, died Monday.
She lived in Redlands, Calif., and married DeVere Pollock in 1934.
They settled in the Silver Valley in 1937.
Mrs. Pollock was a homemaker, Avon representative and a member of the Mormon church.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, DeAnn (Pollock) Martin of Pinehurst; two sons, Edward Pollock of Post Falls and Kent Pollock of California; a sister, Beth Wakefield of Colorado; 13 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Audrey Juhnke Spirit Lake, Idaho
Private burial for Audrey A. Juhnke, 77, was held at Greenwood Cemetery in Spirit Lake. Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene was in charge of arrangements.
Born in Thompson Falls, Mont., Mrs. Juhnke died Monday.
She grew up in Thompson Falls and married Arnold Juhnke in 1940. They settled in the Wallace/Burke area. Mrs. Juhnke moved to Spirit Lake in the late 1940s.
Her husband died in 1982.
Survivors include a son, Lonney Juhnke of Spirit Lake; two daughters, Janice Hockett of Spirit Lake and Vallanna Groves of Oregon; a brother, Arnold Dotson of Hagerman, Idaho; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Jean Powers Spokane
Graveside service for Jean Powers, 67, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Fairmount Memorial Park.
Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A 43-year Spokane resident, Mrs. Powers died Monday. She was born in Mullan, Idaho.
Mrs. Powers was a homemaker.
Her husband, Robert, died in 1991.
Survivors include a son, William Bush of Bothell, Wash.; three nieces, Dannette Thompson and Debie Cory, both of Spokane, and Doreen Stamatellos of Medical Lake; a brother, John Tolsen of Seminole, Fla.; three sisters, Betty Cameron and Nancy McKinney, both of Spokane, and Ella Argal of La Luz, N.M.; and three grandchildren.
Raymond Mills Kellogg
Memorial service for Raymond E. Mills, 68, will be today at 1 p.m. at the Kellogg Funeral Chapel. Inurnment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Kellogg.
Mr. Mills, who was born in Silverton, Colo., died Monday.
He served with the Navy during World War II and lived in the Silver Valley for many years. He worked for the Idaho State Highway Department.
Survivors include four daughters, Sandra Sterling of Kellogg, Tammy Kennedy of Portland and Rachel and J.R. Mills, both of Rathdrum, Idaho; two sons, John Mills of Des Moines, Wash., and Ron Mills of Pinehurst, Idaho; a brother, John Mills of Nevada; three sisters, Genevieve Anderson of Kingston, Idaho, Lucille Cozier of Renton, Wash., and Wilma Petitt of Kellogg; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Robert Grater Spokane
Memorial service for Robert E. Grater, 79, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Heritage Funeral Home.
A 79-year Spokane resident, Mr. Grater died Monday. He was born in Athol, Idaho.
Mr. Grater was orphaned at an early age, making Hutton Settlement his home.
He married Dorothy Fuller in 1941.
Mr. Grater served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II in the South Pacific.
He later worked as a glazier for 35 years.
He was a member of the North Hill Masonic Lodge 210 and the Trinity Court 51 Order of Amaranth.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Stephen and Stann Grater, both of Spokane; a brother, Glen Grater of Fond du Lac, Wis.; a sister, Pearle LaLumia of Des Plaines, Ill.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
