‘Family Feud’ Returns In Fall
A revamped version of “Family Feud” is coming to TV in September with comedian Louie Anderson as host.
The original “Family Feud” hosted by Richard Dawson debuted on ABC in July 1976 in daytime. In 1988, CBS resurrected a daytime version with host Ray Combs for a short run.
Meanwhile, plans have been scrapped for a one-hour retooled version of “Let’s Make a Deal” with host Gordon Elliott. The show had hoped to start this fall.
