Lc, CV Win Openers In District Softball

The Lewis and Clark Tigers defeated Mead 6-0 in the loser-out opener of District 8 softball play Thursday, earning their first appearance in the regional tournament.

In another loser-out game, Central Valley followed with a 2-0 win over Rogers.

The tournament continues today, 3:45 p.m. at Franklin Park when LC plays Shadle Park.

Following at 6 p.m. will be a game between CV and top-seeded University.
