Melanie Forster became the bride of Mauricio Robalino in a March 7 ceremony at the Miller Community Center in Seattle.

The bride is the daughter of Patrick and Barbara Forster, Spokane. The groom is the son of Hernan Robalino, Oxnard, Calif., and the late Consuelo Andrado Marin.

A reception at the center followed the ceremony. The couple, who plan to honeymoon at a later date, are living in Seattle.

The bride has a bachelor’s degree in social work and is a preschool teacher. The groom, who holds a master’s degree in art, is an artist.
